Hi due to the effects of the Government restriction Owl Occasions will cease all activities until the restrictions are lifted and free movement and group gatherings are allowed.

I will consider bookings from September onwards if the restrictions have been lifted by then, likewise bookings for 2021 when I sincerely hope things will have returned to near normal!

Lyn and I had a lovely afternoon with the residents of Riversway Nursing Home and some of our owls. The visit was enjoyed by all and we look forward to visiting again in March.

On Friday Lyn I and the birds had the pleasure of helping Louise and John celebrating their wedding at Kings Weston House.
The wedding party had the chance to see and talk to us about Loki the Barn Owl, Billy the Boobook Owl and Midnight the Great Grey Owl. Everyone was interested and with guests from all over the world, we had great owl related conversations!

On 8th December we visited Box Village hall to give an Owl presentation at Tabatha’s 6th birthday party to her and her friends and family. The children and adults all enjoyed seeing Loki fly and finding out about the specialities of owls what they eat and where they live.

On the 30th November, we had the pleasure of having an Owl Party presentation at Hallie’s 9th birthday party at her home. Billy and Loki proved to star as usual and were enjoyed by Hallie, her friends and family.

Lyn, Paul Yvonne and I had a great time with 33 French students on a Harry Potter-themed vacation in the UK. The students learnt about Owls and how they catch their food and then had the opportunity to hold one for their Harry Potter memories.
We even had a transformed Wizard waiting at the door to check us out, namely a Toad, he was obviously happy!

Today we had our annual visit to Exeter University to talk to the students about owl pellets and the special senses owl use to catch their prey. Loki the Barn owl flew randomly but beautifully showed off his silent flight.

On Friday the @Owloccasions team of Lyn, Dave, #Lokithebarnowl, and #BillytheBoobookowl had the pleasure of visiting Easton CE Academy
Where the Reception classes behaved beautifully whilst I talked about owls and their special senses and Loki had a small flying demonstration to the delight of the children.
